These Terms of Service govern your use of intelligentkeysolutions.com and your purchase of products from Intelligent Key Solutions (IKS). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Who Can Purchase From Us

Intelligent Key Solutions proudly sells automotive replacement keys, key fobs, remotes, and related replacement parts directly to individual vehicle owners and automotive industry professionals.

Anyone can purchase eligible automotive replacement keys and remotes from our online store. No locksmith license, professional credentials, business account, or industry affiliation is required.

We welcome individual vehicle owners, automotive locksmiths, dealerships, repair facilities, fleet operators, and other customers.

There is no professional verification requirement or minimum order quantity for standard retail purchases of automotive replacement keys and remotes.

Restricted Locksmithing Tools and Equipment

For vehicle security and theft-prevention purposes, professional locksmithing tools, key programming equipment, and certain specialized automotive security equipment are restricted to verified, qualified automotive industry professionals.

We may require professional credentials, business verification, or other reasonable documentation before fulfilling orders for restricted equipment.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders for restricted equipment when eligibility cannot be verified, with refunds handled in accordance with applicable law.

These professional restrictions do not apply to ordinary purchases of automotive replacement keys, key fobs, or remotes.

2. Product Descriptions and Vehicle Compatibility

We make every effort to provide accurate product descriptions, OEM part numbers, FCC IDs, compatibility information, and other relevant product specifications.

Our product listings are developed and maintained using extensive hands-on automotive locksmithing and electronic key experience.

However, automotive key compatibility can vary based on vehicle year, make, model, trim, factory-installed equipment, production changes, and other factors.

Customers are responsible for confirming that the selected product is appropriate for their vehicle before purchasing, cutting, or attempting programming.

If you are uncertain which key or remote your vehicle requires, please call (512) 829-4023 before ordering. We are happy to help customers identify the appropriate product.

Receiving the exact product ordered does not constitute a fulfillment error if the customer selected an incompatible part.

Returns and exchanges involving incorrect product selection are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

3. Key Cutting and Programming

Many automotive replacement keys and remotes require cutting, programming, synchronization, or other professional services before they can be used with a vehicle.

Purchasing a replacement key or remote does not guarantee compatibility with every programming device or procedure.

Some automotive keys and remotes may undergo permanent or partial changes during programming, including unsuccessful programming attempts.

A programming failure does not automatically establish that a product is defective. Failures may result from incorrect part selection, equipment limitations, vehicle conditions, or programming procedures.

Customer-selected incorrect products and modified keys are subject to the conditions described in our Return & Refund Policy.

4. Product Condition

Products may be offered as New OEM, OEM Refurbished, aftermarket, or other clearly identified conditions.

The condition of each product is disclosed in its applicable listing.

OEM Refurbished products have undergone inspection, restoration, and functional testing appropriate to the product.

New OEM products may be supplied in factory-sealed boxes or bags. Opening sealed packaging, cutting a blade, or attempting programming may affect return eligibility as explained in our Return & Refund Policy.

5. Pricing and Availability

All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.

Prices, promotions, and product availability may change without notice.

The applicable product price is the price displayed and accepted during checkout, subject to correction of genuine pricing errors as permitted by law.

We reserve the right to correct listing errors, update product information, and cancel orders that cannot reasonably be fulfilled. Any payment collected for an unfulfilled canceled order will be refunded.

6. Payment

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.

Payment is processed through our available payment providers in accordance with their applicable terms.

Orders may be subject to routine payment verification and fraud-prevention checks.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are processed and shipped in accordance with our published Shipping Policy.

Shipping methods, charges, and estimated delivery dates are displayed during checkout.

Most orders placed by 3:00 PM Central Time on business days ship the same day, although same-day dispatch is not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed.

Carrier delays and circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery dates.

8. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

All returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by our published Return & Refund Policy.

This includes requirements relating to:

• Return authorization
• Product condition
• Factory-sealed OEM packaging
• Cut or modified keys
• Programming attempts
• Incorrect product selection
• Applicable restoration fees
• Shipping costs and refund processing

Verified defective products and fulfillment errors attributable to Intelligent Key Solutions are handled separately from customer-selection errors.

9. Acceptable Use and Restricted Equipment

Customers agree not to use our website, products, or services for unlawful purposes.

Automotive locksmithing tools, programming equipment, and security-related products must be used only with proper authorization and in compliance with applicable laws.

We reserve the right to refuse restricted-equipment transactions when we reasonably determine that professional verification requirements have not been satisfied or that a transaction presents a credible security or fraud concern.

Nothing in this section imposes professional licensing requirements on ordinary retail purchases of replacement automotive keys or remotes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Intelligent Key Solutions is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from product misuse, incorrect part selection, unauthorized programming, or improper installation.

Where legally permitted, our liability relating to a product purchase is limited to the amount paid for the affected product.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
